Penthouse Suite Home Remodel

Our prior experience with the expansion/renovation of an older single-family home made us aware of the complexities and surprises involved in renovations - so we were interested in taking a different approach on the gut rehab of our new condominium.  A Colorado-based contractor, and relative, suggested we seek out a well-regarded Design-Build firm.    We found Glenbrook Remodeling, and we could not recommend them more highly.  Their creative and straightforward design process was enhanced by active listening to our project objectives and the use of innovative software which allowed us to cost out and then see virtually every element of our design plan – before a hammer was lifted.  Our project was comprehensive – kitchen, living room, library, bedrooms, bathrooms and more.   The Glenbrook Remodeling build team was highly professional, responsive, and attentive to delivering quality results and materials to match the plan.  Our upper floor location and condo association rules required both logistical challenges and communication skills to keep the project moving while being responsive to neighbors’ concerns.  Glenbrook Remodeling did a great job on both fronts in building a project that was beautiful, delivered on time, at the agreed upon price in a work environment that was clean and orderly and complimented by neighbors.   Anyone planning a renovation project should expect a few surprises and bumps in the road.  We did and we hit a few.  Our main surprises (building code related, defective appliances) were outside the control of Glenbrook Remodeling.   Even so, they stood by us every step of the way and leveraged their third-party relationships to ensure that others performed for us.  Even when Glenbrook Remodeling’s work was essentially complete, they stayed involved and invested time to make sure things were resolved to our satisfaction.  Cathy and David D.
